World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The upgrade feature for items allows players to boost the item level for weapons that can be equipped or armor. This boosts the stats of the item and can also add buffs or rerolls an affix.
It is important to remember that upgrading common gear isn't always worth it. Rare and unique equipment will quickly surpass modernized magic and common equipment.
Cost
If a player wants to upgrade an item, they must spend Gold to do so. The cost of upgrading an item is based on the item's current status and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are usually cheaper than upgrades to armor because weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
Upgraded items also come with improved stats that can improve its performance in a variety of ways. This could include increasing the power of its attack, critical strike chance, or damage per second. Additionally an upgraded item might be able to offer additional bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used for a number of reasons such as to increase the overall power of a group or individual unit. They can also affect the overall the gameplay.
Items can be upgraded at any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. Generally NPCs can be found in capital cities or major questing areas. Players can also find upgraders by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses, or by talking to the NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is similar to the reforging of gear in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However, instead of using currency, players need to visit an upgrader for their item to complete the process.
Upgrades can be costly especially for armor and weapons. Depending on which upgrade track you select, each item upgrade can cost Crests or Valorstones. The total cost could be a major burden for players who do not have the funds or are unable to grind them.
Fortunately the game allows players to roll an upgraded item using an additional tool available in the items menu. This option exchanges the upgraded item with an equivalent version at level 1 that has an additional set of bonus effects. This is a great way to improve the roll of items that are already upgraded. However, it could be a waste of time.
Requirements

Upgrading is the procedure of increasing the level of equippable items, such as trinkets, weapons, and armor. This boosts their effectiveness and makes them more effective in battle. Players can upgrade gear by paying the appropriate currency at a NPC who sells upgrades for items. However, players must be aware that some upgrades have special requirements.
The initial upgrades only boost the stats of the item's base by one level, however later upgrades provide more significant enhancements. Upgrades from level 3 to 6 will increase the weapon's damage by two levels. Additionally, the upgraded item will get a bonus stat, which is based on its tier. This bonus is a mix of a substat that is guaranteed and random generated stats that will change from upgrade to upgrade.
Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item comes with different set of extra bonuses, and is of a lower level of the item. The rerolled item will have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the item rerolled won't be able to keep its original strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was an Epic, Rare, or Unique. Some exceptional items can also be suitable for rerolling, however their original stats will be replaced with an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will produce a Normal version, and rolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
A newly upgraded item could come with additional modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and improve its performance. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade price. They can be purchased at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can also be earned by doing specific missions within the game.
To upgrade a piece of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Based on the kind of item, you'll need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants; Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also need various amounts of Minerals and Erons.
Time
Upgrades to items can be used to improve the performance of your equipment and ship without the need to level them. While upgrading isn't expensive, it is a good way to improve your performance without having to spend as much time fighting. It's crucial to be aware of the benefits and costs of item upgrades before investing your money or effort.
Each upgrade boosts the stats of the item's base by in a specific amount, and offers the chance of obtaining a bonus substat. The extra substat is random and may range from a small increase in one stat to an even greater increase in another. Concentrate on the things that perform best in slot first. They will give you a higher returns for your money.
You can see the time it takes to complete an upgrade by opening your inventory and selecting the weapon, ship, or other accessory. The upgrade window will show the expected completion time and progress. In some instances you may be in a position to speed up the upgrade by applying a Glyph.
It is also possible to salvage certain or all of the upgrade components from an item using a high-end salvage kit, which is offered by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. This is not the case for legendary equipment or upgrades that can only be recovered using an upgrade extractor or making a claim with the appropriate Karma dealer.
Enjoy the Benefits
Upgrades to items reward players with a range of items and currencies. Each upgrade also has a chance of granting an unspecified stat bonus. The amount of bonus is different for each upgrade, and is usually higher for rare items. Players can use a Great Vault search to see whether an item can be upgraded before spending tickets. The search can assist in determining whether the item is of a particular level and if the player would benefit by upgrading to a specific upgrade.
During the upgrade, an item will slowly grow closer to the next stage, but it is not always able to reach its maximum upgrade bar. This process makes use of Growthstones and Sollant but there is an 80% chance of getting an upgraded item after just one cycle. The more levels an item receives, the greater its boosted stat value and the more items it can upgrade to.
Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to give an attribute benefit or an additional effect while the equipment is equipped. Certain upgrade components can be equipped with additional cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade items by crafting, purchasing from vendors or on the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining rewards. Additionally players can retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them with a salvage kit. Glyphs, which are stored in tools for gathering can be exchanged without restriction.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button with a a rerolling arrow the player can reroll it to create an upgradeable item. This will alter the layout of the game and allow players to select up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item that is recycled can be exchanged for an item of level 1 similar to it. Recycled items will not keep their level, or the resources used to upgrade it.
The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by the item's level and its quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels up to nine, while common items can only be upgraded up to level six. The upgrade of an item is added to its base statistics. This means that they won't increase more after a certain point.
